SS Christmas gift
Jackie sent a wonderful bunch of gifts wrapped in darling Xmas fabric. I love the sun catcher with its darling little crystal angel and lots of crystal beads. She also made a sweet little work cushion that has a special side for beading and a measuring tape across the front. I've already used it and it makes my work much easier. The tiny little Christmas ornament is hanging on my tree, and she included the neatest back scratcher to get st those hard to reach places. I love everything Jackie.
SS gifts from Jackie S
I received a full rainbow of colors of silk from Jackie. Many of the colors are ones that I don't have in my stash. Also included where several pieces that were beaded. Thanks again Jackie

Secret sister Christmas gift.
I had so much fun getting goodies together for my SS on World Wide Crazy Quilters list. My main gift was the little silk ribbon embroidered heart that hides a tiny pair of very sharp embroidery scissors. I also included some vintage lace and trim plus lots of beads and lovely silk threads. Sure hope she likes it
Christmas tree is done
The tree is up in the living room but I still have two more to go. Most of the shopping is finished so after I get the rest of the trees up its time to start wrapping.....my favorite part.

Happy Thanksgiving
Busy doing the last minute things before my girls and their families arrive for dinner. I've wanted a new dining room table for ages but most years only think about getting one at holiday time and I'm too busy to go out looking for the perfect table. This year was different, shopped early and now have a beautiful mission style oak table.
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Another Try At Blogging
After ten years of living out of two separate places, we have settled down in our real home in Everett. Our first project was to simplify our yard work. We replaced our moss filed grass with new grass and cut the gardens way down. Now most of flowers are in containers in the front and on our deck. So much easier to care for. Now that winter is upon us I have replaced the begonias with colorful kale. Next project is to paint indoors. I'm thinking about putting that off until after the holidays. Gives me more time to prepare for Christmas, as the family gathering will be at my house this year.

small gift bags
While cleaning up my craft room I found some wide lace that I could use to make little gift bags. They will be the perfect size for a small gift like a pair of earrings or a necklace wrapped in colored tissue paper.

Third Times A Charm
My new attempt at being a good, crazy quilting blogger. I've tried in the past to keep a blog, but life kind of got the best of me and my hobbies were always at the bottom of my to-do list. If the truth was to be known, I'm so busy collecting ideas, new CQ books and a huge stash that I don't get around to stitching. I'm running out of space in my craft room, so it's time to start using up my goodies. I'm hoping that by blogging I will feel pressure to stitch more often.
